Lawrence’s Bar and Sidewalk Café
With a cosy atmosphere and English-style decor, Lawrence’s Bar offers a wide range of drinks, including our signature Lawrence’s Cocktail. The Bar is adjacent to the sunny sidewalk café, and is accessible both from the street and the interior of the hotel.
The spacious Forest Terrace overlooks the Sintra forest. It is a truly tranquil spot, away from the bustle of the street, surrounded by the sound of birds and running streams.
Although not widely known, Portugal played a very important role in the history of tea. Not only was Portugal the first European country to inaugurate commercial routes to China in the 16th Century to establish the tea trade, but it was also a Portuguese queen who introduced the famous Five O’clock Tea into England.
With numerous palaces and gardens, Sintra is the ideal place to lay out a table cloth and enjoy a picnic. Our Chef has prepared the perfect delicacies for an outdoor meal.
